Juans les Pins

I've been back home for about a week now, and boy does it feel good! Don't get me wrong, I Love London... But la Côte d'Azur is pretty amazing during summer. Or at any time.

I don't know why, but we ended up in Juans les Pins pretty much everyday this week. We usually change it up with Cannes, Monaco and Nice. But not this time!

We started by going to La Plage "Les Pecheurs" for an afternoon on the beach with the fam. Les Pecheurs is pretty much where we always go. Why change a winning recipe right? Amazing food, they love kids (which we have a lot of!) and have a great quiet beach, which isn't always the case in the South of France.

We pretended to be lizards all afternoon with the occasional game of racket ball.

The next day we took the boat out for a spin in between the island of Cannes, "Iles de Lérins". We anchored the boat to have a picnic and jump off the cliffs!

It was high ok?...
After a lunch filled with emotions we swam and toured the islands.

I remember learning how to sale in these adorable tiny boats! Ah the good ol' days...

At night I took my sister and her hubby out for drinks in.... Juans les Pins, at "Pam-Pam". It's a Brazilian bar with lots of cocktails and yummy ice cream. There's a dance/capoeira show usually which is really fun but it wasn't on that night unfortunately!

I went for a Strawberry Mojito (so predictable), Vanessa went for a Pina Colada and Jonathan went all manly on us and got a rum - straight up!

I don't get to spend much time with "Old" Sis, and I love it when she comes to visit!

The next day friends invited me out to the beach in... Juans les Pins! So obviously I went, and played lizard (again).
On our way home we stopped for rose shaped ice cream, which Ollie tried to glamorise passing girls with... ;)

That's all folks!

I'm back in the UK on Tuesday to go see the Henley Royal Regatta! Expect posts! xxx

  1. For the record, I'm not "old" ... but I too miss hanging out with my little sis!

  2. What a lovely place to have right on your doorstep. I LOVE that you can just pop out on your boat and indulge in the endless blue :)
